Knowing the thickness of a yarn is critical in understanding how best to use it either as a warp or a weft. The thickness of a yarn determines the sett. To work out the best Sett to use a yarn for you need to know the number of yarn wraps per inch or centimetre - and this is the perfect tool to do it with.

The Yarn Sett Tool is a sturdy but compact wooden bar 9cms long (3.5 inches). It has a one inch slot and a one centimetre slot cut into it.

A must have for every weavers tool box.
