Tapestry Weaver Claire Buckley will be teaching this workshop on how to blend colours together in woven Tapestry.

The aim of colour blending in tapestry weaving is to have colour changing seamlessly across the surface of the tapestry. The transition is due to the optical mixing that takes place in the eye creating a very subtle effect. This workshop will teach basic colour blending techniques in a simple sample to enable the weaver to go on to use the techniques with confidence in their own designs.

Suitable for all with some weaving experience. Materials and equipment are provided and different yarns and materials will be available for experimenting with. A full course booklet is included. Students can choose their own colourway.
